• Advanced Nurse Practitioner (OPS-0094)

    £35.78 hours per hour, Salaried Opportunities

    Are you an Advanced Nurse Practitioner? Are you looking for varied work, which could include Treatment centres’, telephone triage and home visits? Are you looking for shifts that are part of a salaried contract? If so, we would love to hear from you!

    We are currently seeking experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join us at Devon Doctors, to work within our Out of Hours Service, across Devon. You will require a recognised Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification at degree level as well as a non-medical prescribing qualification.

    This exciting opportunity will cover a variety of work options, which can include: Treatment Centre, Telephone Triage, Home Visiting and opportunities within our Clinical Assessment Service at our base site in Exeter. You can work a mix of these or choose which you prefer… we really are flexible and have shifts that will suit all options, as finding the right people is important to us.

    The post holder will be contributing towards a ‘one team culture’ throughout the Organisation and promoting a patient centred ethos of “Putting Patients First”.

    The role will require the Advanced Nurse Practitioner to be autonomous, who is confident to work as the only clinician on some occasions, but with support from GP colleagues at other sites. They will see a full range of patients presenting through the Integrated Urgent Care Service with undifferentiated diagnoses to assess, treat, prescribe, referring as necessary.  

    In order to be successful, we do ask that all applicants have an Advanced Level Nurse Practitioner qualification and must be a non-medical prescriber. We will also accept applications from those who are credentialing, or have gone through this process.

    The role will cover evenings and weekends, in addition to in-hours work and will be on a permanent salaried basis.
