• Receptionist / Administrator (AH-0071)

    Location: Access Health Care, Mayflower Medical Group Mount Gould Medical Centre

    Salary: £8.82 per hour

    31.5hrs per week (Wednesday 0800-1830, Thursday 0800-1830, Friday 0800-1830)

    Access Health Care is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual for our Reception and Administration team. You will work within the Mayflower Medical Group, which currently provides primary care services to a registered practice population from five sites across Plymouth. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and innovative group of practices with a determination to provide high quality clinical care to our patients. The successful candidate will have experience in working within a healthcare setting and have strong communication skills to ensure our patients receive the very best experience and support to meet their health needs.

    You will be based at our Mount Gould practice within a friendly, cooperative and supportive team; and must be helpful to colleagues and patients alike with a desire to learn.  You will be the first link for our patients and visitors and your foremost responsibility is to welcome and assist all patients, visitors and healthcare professionals who walk through our doors. Often those we meet and speak with are in need of our empathy, as a result of stressful circumstances with their own or a loved one’s health; therefore you would need to be able to be sensitive in how to handle these situations.

We are a happy proactive team who will listen to your ideas, support your development and give you the opportunity to succeed.

    We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and motivated to support our patients along with the ability to work as part of a team.  The successful candidate will have a high level of competence in the use of IT. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of health professionals. Our shift patterns are split into morning and afternoon shifts and we need someone who can be flexible in order to cover all shifts.
