    Devon Doctors has helped to create a dash of colour across some of Exeter’s best-know green spaces. Along with the Big Lottery Fund, we gave financial support to the Exeter Wild City initiative – a scheme led by Devon Wildlife Trust [DWT] and Exeter City Council.     Patients have again recognised Devon Doctors as one of the country’s leading providers of out-of-hours [OOH] GP care. The results of NHS England’s latest GP survey rank the OOH care provided in South Devon and Torbay as the eighth best in the country, while North East and West Devon ranks 10th of the 214 areas assessed.     Devon Doctors is pleased to be able to report on another success story for our friends at Devon Wildlife Trust. A project supported by Devon Doctors has seen the courtyard space and outbuildings at Woodah Farm, on the edge of Dartmoor, refurbished to create facilities enabling it to act as a centre for traditional rural skills, core conservation work and sustainable land management techniques.     Devon Doctors offers Scott and Susanna Morrish its sincere sympathies for their tragic loss. We accept that there were failings in our service on the evening of December 22, 2010, and that these failings contributed to a delay in Sam receiving clinical attention.     The NHS in south Devon accepts the findings of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) report into the death of three-year-old Sam Morrish, which is published today (Thursday) . Organisations recognise that they failed Sam at each stage of his contact with the health service, and in subsequent investigations, and have apologised to his family.
