You will get the opportunity to cover a variety of options within the business which includes; telephone triage, treatment centre, home visits and shifts within our clinical assessment centre in Sowton, Exeter.

Main duties of the job

You must be an advanced paramedic with at least 6 months primary care experience. You should have a recognised advanced level qualification (however we will accept applications from those who are credentialing currently).You will also need your independent prescriber qualification with a minimum of 1 years' experience.

You should have the ability and confidence to see a wide range of patients presenting through the integrated urgent care service and be able to assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and refer as necessary independently. There will be occasions where you will be required to lone work as the sole clinician so it is important that you are comfortable working in this capacity although you will always have access to support from GP colleagues at other sites.
